Sources: 'Cabinet is working on a plan to open terraces and shops on April 21'

The Netherlands may be allowed back on the terrace at the end of this month. The outgoing cabinet is working on a major plan to unlock the corona lock. The idea is to open terraces and shops from April 21. The controversial curfew will therefore disappear.

 

Sources confirm that The Telegraph. The government expects to reach a tipping point at the end of this month. At least six million people will then be resistant to the virus. Half have already had corona, the other half, including a large part of the risk group, has been vaccinated.

 

The cabinet is once again working on a kind of roadmap. Now the idea is to relax in steps towards the summer. If all goes well, only the basic rules will remain in place during the summer months, such as the 1,5 meter rule and the call to wash your hands a lot.

 

The call to make more possible is getting louder and louder. Mayors are calling in unison for the opening of the terraces. The experts of the Outbreak Management Team (OMT) have yet to review the plan. The cabinet's next press conference will be held on 13 April.
