The security guard engages the person in a brief, friendly conversation. If a logical explanation emerges, the guard concludes that no threat is present and normal service continues. If the explanation is unclear, contradictory or accompanied by new deviant behaviour, the guard escalates and takes appropriate action to remove the threat.
Where did predictive profiling originate?
